We are outstanding!
We are proud to announce that St Joseph’s Hospice has been crowned winner of City University’s Outstanding placement of the year award.
After many years of continuous great feedback from pre- registration student nurses, we are thrilled to win City University’s Outstanding placement of the year award.
This is a wonderful achievement as it recognises the incredible contribution all the nursing teams at the hospice give to the support and development of our nurses of the future.
It is a very meaningful award as we have been nominated by the student nurses themselves and a great way of saying thank you.
We couldn’t be more delighted and a big thank you to all of our Nursing Team who go the extra mile to teach Student nurses.
‘The ceremony held at the very grand Haberdashers hall on 14th June was attended by representatives from St Joseph’s Hospice Education dept.; Kay Daley (Admin Lead) and Carolyne Barber (Lecturer) and from clinical practice Ward Manager Josephine Lasrado and Tina Morris (Practice Development Nurse). St Joseph’s was the only Hospice receiving an award from City, University of London School of health sciences.
Winning the top award in the nursing section amongst prestigious company such as UCL hospitals, NHS foundation Trusts, Bart’s Health and Homerton Hospital made us all very proud’.
