Inpatient care
Many patients who stay on our inpatient wards will return home after a brief period of medical and nursing help. Some patients become too unwell to return home or may choose to die at the Hospice.
Our Respite and rehabilitation is a planned stay for 1 – 2 weeks.

Inpatient wards
We currently have two wards, Lourdes and St Michael’s, which have 17 beds each, including Respite beds. We have a large team of professionals providing the highest quality palliative care, who will work with you and your family or carer.
Respite care
If you have a life-limiting illness and you need a break from home, then our free Respite and Rehabilitation service could help you. We will work with you to find ways to maintain independence and improve your wellbeing.
