‘For me it’s really good to think that our life has a purpose and that we can contribute in someone’s life … one of the main reasons that I want to continue volunteering is that in one way I can make a difference in their lives …. they are really tired and not well, but after the visit … I feel that I made a bit of a difference.’

“The patients & their families are always appreciative of the time spent with them. Their feedback is positive, in how they feel after the care. Families have said that it was a comfort to them knowing that someone was there with their loved one, even if it meant just holding their hands and talking to them.”
