Research
At St Joseph’s Hospice we are passionate about education and research in end of life care.
We pride ourselves on delivering high quality specialist palliative care which is responsive to patients’ needs, and we are committed to conducting and supporting high quality research to inform the delivery palliative care across the sector.
Our team of consultants, doctors, nurses and therapists make a vital contribution to research in palliative care, and regularly present at conferences and publish their research in peer-reviewed journals achieving national and international recognition for their work.
We welcome research proposals from organisations and individuals outside of St Joseph’s. We have a research governance committee which reviews each application, and manages the governance processes for each research project to ensure that it is conducted ethically and in line with our mission and core values.
