Funeral Collections
Some people choose to hold a collection at a funeral or memorial service often in lieu of flowers. Funeral donations are a meaningful way to remember and celebrate someone special while supporting the work of the Hospice. We can help you honour your loved one in a way that feels right for you.
Get in Touch
We understand that planning a funeral is a difficult time, so if you’d like to speak to someone about organising the collection or want assistance liaising with the funeral director, please call Christelle, our Legacy and In Memory Officer on 0208 525 3025 or email tributes@stjh.org.uk
Paying in donations
- Donate in memory directly using our online donation form
- Please, make cheques payable to St Joseph’s Hospice
- Collected donations can be posted to ‘St Joseph’s Hospice, Mare Street London E8 4SA’. Include the name of the person you are donating in memory of.
Arrange an online funeral collection
You can set up an online tribute page for loved ones to make donations in memory of someone special. It only takes a few minutes and it is easy to share the link with friends and family. The tribute can also act as a funeral notice where you can share funeral arrangements with family and friends. You can invite loved ones to personalise the tribute page with photos, videos, and messages and add virtual candles. Offline donations at the funeral can be added to the online tribute. Once the tribute page is set up, we can generate a QR code that can be added to the order of service.
