- 21st June
- 28th June
- 5th July
- 12th July
- 19th July
The sessions offer the opportunity for patients to make artwork, reflect and share experiences in a group setting. Art Therapy uses art materials to explore feelings in a safe environment and no previous experience of making art is needed to participate or benefit. The aim is not to make “good” artwork; this is not a taught art class, rather a therapeutic space where all art expressions are valid and welcome. We have been working hard over the past year to improve accessibility. The group is suitable for all, including people with restricted movement or speech.
No referral is needed as the group runs on a “drop-in” basis. Due to the need for social distancing however, there will be a limit initially of 4 places each week, allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Community patients are advised to let us know in advance if they plan to attend. Please call Ross McCrindle, Psychological Therapies Administrator on 020 8525 3229 or email R.McCrindle@STJH.org.uk
