You can now attend Patient Art Therapy Group on Fridays from 2pm – 3.30pm in the large group room in Wellspring.
When?
The next sessions for Winter 2026 are:
- Friday 9th January
- Friday 16th January
- Friday 23rd January
- Friday 30th January
- Friday 6th February
- Friday 13th February
The sessions offer the opportunity for patients to make artwork, reflect and share experiences in a group setting. Art Therapy uses art materials to explore feelings in a safe environment and no previous experience of making art is needed to participate or benefit. The aim is not to make “good” artwork; this is not a taught art class, rather a therapeutic space where all art expressions are valid and welcome. We have been working hard over the past year to improve accessibility. The group is suitable for all, including people with restricted movement or speech.
No referral is needed as the group runs on a “drop-in” basis.
Community patients are advised to let us know in advance if they plan to attend. Please call Ross McCrindle, Psychological Therapies Administrator on 020 8525 3229 or email R.McCrindle@STJH.org.uk
