Volunteer Cafe Assistant
We are looking for volunteers with hospitality/catering experience to help us in our community cafe.
Role Overview:
The ideal volunteer will have experience of preparing food in a cafe or commercial kitchen, be able to operate the till and have excellent customer service skills.
We have permanent shifts available currently:
- Monday – 12pm-4pm
- Thursday – 12pm-4pm
- Friday – 9am-2pm
Key responsibilities:
The role will involve taking orders, making light breakfast meals, serving customers, clearing tables and clean down after service. Full training and support will be provided.
The cafe can get extremely busy, so if you are fit and active, this role might be for you!
