Garden of Celebration 2024
See photos from this year’s Garden of Celebration event, including the total amount raised by our incredible supporters. We’ve also got details about our collection and delivery dates if you have ordered a flower.
On Saturday 8th August, we opened this summer’s Garden of Celebration here at the Hospice, welcoming over a hundred visitors to our peaceful gardens to celebrate the lives of those we love and miss. It was a beautiful day filled with lots of special memories, and we hope that everyone who attended found joy and comfort in the experience.
We’re absolutely thrilled to say that Flowers of Celebration has raised over £15,000 for St Joseph’s Hospice. As a local charity receiving around half of our funding from the NHS, donations like these play a vital part in ensuring we can care for everyone who needs us.
A big thank you to…
Oknytt Ceramics
The wonderful Hanna Salomonsson, or Oknytt Ceramics, has been the ceramicist behind the flowers since Flowers of Celebration began three years ago. We’d like to thank her for her talent and creativity, without which this campaign wouldn’t be possible.
Sky
Our friends at Sky have supported us throughout the campaign, as well as on the day, where employees Selina and Riz got stuck in with preparing and serving refreshments. They did a brilliant job, and we’re so grateful for their support.
