Help keep our work going
St Joseph’s Hospice is an important part of your local community and we rely on the support of rotary clubs, religious organisations and groups to help us raise the £7 million we need to keep our work going, how you raise this money is entirely up to you, but could be something as simple as getting your group together and holding a bake sale with our Time for Tea.
Speakers and Talks
Would your community group like to learn more about the hospice? We have trained volunteer Ambassadors who are able to come to you and talk to you and your group about the work we do and services we provide.
If you are a member of a local club or group and would like one of our Ambassador’s to come to you, please contact us at fundraising@stjh.org.uk or call us on 020 8525 3200. They are able to present to any audience and will tailor their presentation to match the needs of your group.
But don't just take our words for it!
Our Ambassador Liz gave a talk to Hackney Library’s ESOL group and was given the following feedback:
Liz was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the materials were interesting and informative. Also, they were just the right level for my group. I must admit I can be wary of visitors and presentations to ESOL groups in case the language isn’t the right level, but I had nothing to worry about with Liz. We had really interesting discussion based around the materials and a fantastic session overall. I would highly recommend a visit to any group interested.
