Our 120th Birthday
120 years ago today, we opened our doors to provide compassionate care to the poor and dying of East London.
It’s our birthday! 120 years ago today, we opened our doors to provide compassionate care to the poor and dying of East London.
St Joseph’s Hospice has stood tall at the heart of Hackney throughout two world wars and a rapidly changing world. In that time, our expert staff have cared for thousands and thousands of people and families facing a life-limiting diagnosis, helping them to live well and do what really matters to them in the time they have left. And most importantly, our care is free of charge.
St Joseph’s Hospice wouldn’t be here without the support of our community, so from all of us, thank you for being part of our 120 year journey.
