What do you do at St Joseph’s?
I’ve been at St Joseph’s now for four years, working as a Staff Nurse on Lourdes Ward.
You may be surprised to hear that St Joseph’s has a drinks trolley that does the ward rounds twice a day to offer patients free alcoholic and soft drink refreshments.
"A healing place. Somewhere that heals the soul and takes the rawness away so it’s possible to go on. That’s St Joseph’s."
While most of us were tucking into our Christmas Day lunch, some of the Compassionate Neighbours team – complete with an army of volunteers – were busy hosting festivities at St Joseph’s.
What do you do?I am the Carers' Service Coordinator, a role within the Social Work Team at St Joseph's Hospice.
We’re now in December, and Christmas will be here before we know it, so we’re busy getting everything ready at the hospice.
