I’ve received the pack through the post – how do I make the bunting?
It’s simple – cut out each triangle then with a hole-punch, make 2 holes at the top of each piece. Find some string or coloured ribbon and lace it through all the holes. Hang it up to decorate your room!
I’ve received the pack through the post – what are the cake labels?
Just cut out each square – there should be 6 on the page, fold over and write what the cake is in the white space. You could also write the price and if appropriate, what the cake contains.
Are there any legal issues I should be aware of?
There are no legal issues but you should be careful anyway. When baking, make sure your kitchen and hands are clean throughout. Make sure you know what’s in the cakes – ask other bakers to bring a list of ingredients. If the cakes contain nuts or other allergens, make sure it’s made clear. You can see a list of all allergens here.
Can you send me more posters, cake labels and/or bunting?
Of course – just get in touch and let us know what you need. Email Emma here or call the fundraising office on 020 8525 3200.
I would love to take part but I can’t bake!
Baking isn’t essential, Time for Tea is all about getting friends and family together to have a good time and raise money for St Joseph’s. You could ask other people to bring cakes or just buy some from a local supermarket or bakery.
