Time for Tea

Campaign tabs

Time for tea. Time for a cuppa. Time for a brew. Whatever you call it, holding a Time for Tea for St Joseph’s Hospice is as easy as one, two three.

Whether you hold it at home, work, school, or in the community, get your friends, family, classmates and work colleagues together for a generous serving of tea and cake.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a brilliant baker or more of a supermarket shopper, our fundraising pack will give you lots of hints, tips, fundraising ideas  posters and bunting to decorate with, so you will have the recipe for success!

But don’t just take our word for it, Debbie Pegram, Ward Manager for St Anne's Ward told us how important making time for tea is on her ward:

"One very important part of individual care is finding out how someone likes their cup of tea! I know personally for me too much milk or the hint of sugar and I would not enjoy it. I always ask how someone likes their tea – strong, weak, milk, no milk, sugar, the list goes on.  A brew made in a teapot with tea leaves and drunk from a bone china cup and saucer evokes fond memories for so many and is such a pleasurable experience to share with others."
