Little Things
Each year we need to raise around £6 million to continue our work. Small, everyday actions from people like you help make it possible.
Here are some of the little ways you can make a big difference.

Donate old belongings to our charity shops
Our charity shops are a key source of income: so next time you spring clean, why not drop off your preloved clothes, books or bric-a-brac to our two shops in Hackney or our blue bins in the Hospice car park. And whilst you’re there, you can pick up some pre-loved goodies too!

Donate when you shop
Make free and simple donations when you shop online or in-store at over 8,000 retailers. With Easyfundraising, every time you shop, the retailer makes a donation to St Joseph’s Hospice at no cost to you.

Drop off old stamps, coins, or foreign currency
Pop your change in one of our blue collection tins at pubs and shops around East London. Or donate your foreign currency or old stamps by dropping them off at the Hospice.

Send an e-Card
Don’t Send Me A Card will send your loved ones a digital e-Card in return for a donation to St Joseph’s. Save on waste and postage whilst avoiding holiday post rushes with cards that arrive in seconds.

Set up a birthday fundraiser
Set up a birthday fundraiser via Facebook or JustGiving and ask for donations in lieu of gifts. Easy to set up and an environmentally friendly way to celebrate, it’s a special way to make a birthday or other occasion.
