choose St Joseph's as Charity of the Year We are honoured to have been chosen
as Charity of the Year by both the
Speaker of Hackney and the Speaker
of Tower Hamlets!
Cllr Anya Sizer
Hackney Speaker Cllr Anya Sizer chose
us as one of her three charities of the
year, and has had a busy few months
getting involved with all things St
Joseph's! Cllr Sizer attended our Death
Cafe, took part in the Olympic Park 5k run
and our Great East End Walk, as well as
joining us for our Flowers of Celebration
event. She 's also been busy running
Cllr Sizer visiting our Garden of several of her own fundraising events in
Celebration in August
support of her chosen charities. We are
so grateful for her support this year.
Cllr Jahed Choudhury
Cllr Choudhury was toured round the Hospice, including our beautiful chapel
Speaker of Tower Hamlets, Cllr Jahed Choudhury has lived in Tower Hamlets his entire adult life and is passionate about championing the work of organisations who support the most vulnerable people in the borough.
For this reason, Cllr Choudhury has chosen to support the Hospice as one of his two charities of the year.
We were delighted to give Cllr Choudhury a tour of the Hospice, and he joined us once again in December for our Light Up a Life service. In the same month, Joint CEO Jane Naismith attended the Speaker's Charity Dinner on behalf of the Hospice.
