Sky Cares
An incredible partnership
We are continuously grateful for the time, dedication and enthusiasm of our corporate partner Sky – here’s the story so far.
2021
Kerry, Team Manager at Sky, first contacts the Hospice. Her team begin volunteering wherever necessary at St Joseph’s as we recover from the effects of the pandemic. They paint, decorate, garden and help out in our shops, with outstanding feedback from everyone they work with.
2022
St Joseph’s Hospice become an official partner of Sky Cares – Sky’s programme aimed at giving back to local communities. They help us to target social isolation in our patients by volunteering as Compassionate Neighbours and helping out at Day Hospice. The teams continue to throw themselves into whatever needs doing – wheelchair cleaning, setting up for events and throwing parties for our patients.
2023
Kerry, Jodie (Retail Manager), Ben (Engineer) and the rest of their team
get busy with fundraising – quizzing, walking and abseiling! They continue to lend their time and skills throughout our busiest times of year, from Flowers of Celebration to Light Up a Life.
