Our new ‘Sleeper’ Chairs Thanks to grants from the B&Q Foundation and
The Hodge Foundation, we were able to purchase eight specialist ‘Sleeper Chairs’ for use on our wards,
which are comfortable chairs designed to convert easily between a compact armchair, chaise longue and a full length single bed.

family and friends at all hours of the day, and
has increased the comfort of visitors who

A MASSIVE Thanks Schools take on the
Rudolph Run
Santa’s reindeers were dashing
through the snow at schools
and social clubs all across East
London in December, as we
brought back our very festive
Rudolph Run for children and
teachers alike to race into
Christmas! We would like to
give a huge red-nosed thank
you to all the children who
participated from Leaways, Southwold, St Edmund’s RC, Hoxton Garden, Orchard, New City, Stepney Greencoat and St Peter’s Docks Primary Schools, plus Hackney Youth Football Club. Your fundraising helped make our own festive activities for patients and their families here at the Hospice all the more magical.
A special thanks to our fantastic corporate partner MFS, who gave up their time in November to put together a total of 1,000 Rudolph Run packs ready to go out
to each school.
