Our host for the evening… Lord Michael Cashman CBE

We’re delighted to announce that ex-EastEnders actor, politician and activist Lord Michael Cashman CBE will host this year’s Great East End Quiz. Born and raised in Mile End, Michael made history as one half of the first gay kiss ever broadcast on a British soap. In the same year, he co-founded LGBTQ+ rights charity Stonewall, and went on to become a Member of European Parliament and a life peer.
