Each year, we invite our community to join us to remember and celebrate the lives of those we will always love and deeply miss. This year, Light Up a Life will be held over three days, to make sure it is an accessible and comfortable event for everyone.

Join us for one of six very special remembrance events this December
As you arrive at St Joseph’s on your chosen day, you’ll be greeted by the gentle glow of our Remembrance Tree. Each twinkling light on the tree represents a dedication made to someone special. During your visit, you will be able to create a beautiful memory jar, helping to fill the space with warmth and light. You’ll then be invited to take your seat to watch an exclusive showing of our pre-recorded Light Up a Life 2025 multi-faith service. During your visit, you’re welcome to view our Book of Remembrance, visit our Chapel to light a candle and enjoy some light refreshments in a warm, peaceful setting.
Our six Light Up a Life sessions will take place at the following times:
Thursday 4th December at 4pm and 7pm
Friday 5th December at 4pm and 7pm
Saturday 6th December at 4pm and 7pm
Please note: Sessions are free to attend but MUST be booked as space is limited.
We need to receive your RSVP and dedication by Wednesday 26th November to ensure your dedication appears in the Book of Remembrance. Dedications added after 26th November will appear in an appendix to the Book of Remembrance, which will be available on this page later in December
