Information Hub

St Joseph's Hospice hosts a free information service (called the Information Hub). This service is available to anyone affected by a long-term, serious or life-limiting condition, and also supports carers, family members, health and social care professionals, and the general public.

Our literature advises and informs on:

  • specific conditions (including Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Heart Failure, Alzeimer's/Dementia and Parkinson's)
  • treatments and side effects
  • local services and support
  • health and well-being
  • end-of-life and hospice care
  • support in the home
  • welfare and benefits.

How to access the service

The Information Hub is available as a drop-in service where you can browse information leaflets that you're able to take away with you. There will also be signposting to other services that may be able to help you.

The Information Hub is accessible Monday-Sunday; 8am-9pm.

Gender Pay Gap Report - March 2018

This report has been prepared in line with the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 and Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public Authorities) Regulations 2017. These regulations require that charities with over 250 staff publish information on their Gender Pay Gap annually, both on the government website and on their own. This report outlines the data that was published on the government website as well as some additional narrative and benchmarking, in order to help us better understand what this means for us.

We would like to hear from you
