Rudolph Run 2024
Sign your nursery, school or club up for some free festive fun this Christmas, by taking part in our Rudolph Run!
How you choose to take part in the Rudolph Run is completely up to you. Some schools get dashing through the snow for a mile during a PE lesson, whilst other take part via their Christmas concert – all whilst wearing Rudolph antlers that we’ll provide free of charge as part of a Rudolph Pack for every participating child.
We’ll do all we can to support you, such as delivering the resources, helping your teachers with planning your Run, and even sending some visiting “reindeer” to deliver short presentations in assemblies if you wish!
The goal is for pupils to try and fundraise a minimum of £3.50 each to take part in the run. This is not mandatory as we understand that not all children are in position to hit our £3.50 target. Some schools may choose to make a donation on behalf of the children, but the main focus is to raise awareness of what the Hospice does, and have some festive fun!
All money raised for St Joseph’s Hospice will help us continue to serve those in East London and the City that need us most this Christmas time, supporting our patients at the Hospice and in their homes to spend quality time making memories with loved ones.
Why take part?
Rudolph Run helps build children’s awareness of how hospices support people across the Christmas season, through a fun and interactive activity. It also teaches the importance of caring for your local community and the value of giving to others.
We can deliver a short, age-appropriate presentation in one of your classes or assemblies with some information about the Hospice and how your fundraising can help. We’ll also provide a letter for parents, outlining the campaign and how their child taking part will make a difference.
It could also be a great opportunity for your School Council to help organise a fundraising event.
Regardless of their ability to fundraise, all pupils will receive their own festive Rudolph Pack featuring;
- Stickers
- Colouring pages
- Certificate
- Sponsorship sheet
And of course, their all-important reindeer antlers!
Prep your playlist - we suggest the reindeer themed festive jingles below to help your Rudolphs run faster!
