A comfortable chair can mean the difference between a day spent lying in bed, and an afternoon sitting up in the sunlight, with the people who matter most.
Many of our patients need to sit upright for several hours a day. Spending too long lying in bed can put painful pressure on fragile skin and bones. But without the right chair, sitting up safely and comfortably isn’t always possible.
We’re raising £10,940 to provide four specialist recliner chairs, helping patients sit comfortably, safely and with dignity.

Bring comfort and relaxation to our wards
We’re asking for your help to fund four specialist recliner chairs for our inpatient wards. The Configura Comfort 2 is designed to support people with complex mobility and comfort needs.
Adjustable in width, depth and height, it can be tailored to each patient. With a gentle tilt and built-in rise function, it eases pressure, protects fragile skin and supports safer movement from sitting to standing.
