Big Summer Jumble Fest Success!
The sun shone brightly at the hospice in July as we held our first ever Big Summer Jumble Fest!
The day was full of bargains, burgers, books and even bollywood dancers, and the public were treated to a range of entertainment from Moon Williams, Salseras, Nostalgia Steel Band, London Hula and more.
A big thank you to local authors Patrice Lawrence, Rosie Weller and Heather Butler who all read from their books in our children's corner, and to our magicians Goldie Puricelli and John Lehanan who dazzled the crowds with their magical skills!
The whole hospice got involved with the day, with the decorations made by our Day Hospice; and the cakes, tea and treats in our tea tent donated from local businesses and baked by volunteers.
In total the day raised over £12,000 all of which we couldn't have done it without our enthusiastic team of volunteers. We hope you'll be able to join us at our next jumble soon!
