Light up a Life 2018

Thursday, 6th December 2018

Date: Thursday 6th December 2018

Time: 7pm

Location: St Joseph’s Hospice, Mare Street, Hackney, London E8 4SA

Light up a Life is a special remembrance service which gives people the opportunity to gather with friends, family and their local community and pay tribute to those they have loved and lost.

We welcome people of all faiths or no faith and the service is open to anyone who wishes to attend, regardless of how long ago your loved one died, where they died, or whether or not they received care from the Hospice.

Light up a Life brings family, friends and community together. Many people find comfort in sharing their memories, while others appreciate having a special time to remember someone. For many, dedicating a light on the Remembrance Tree and seeing the personal dedication on our Remembrance Wall is lovely way to show that just because someone is gone, they are not forgotten. There is also the chance to light a candle in our beautiful chapel in honour of your lost loved one.

Dedicating a light on the tree is completely free using the button below.  Those that attend the service will also be able to handwrite a personal dedication to hang on our Dedication Trees.

NB: We cannot guarantee that dedications received after Friday 30th November will be included in the Remembrance Books at the service.
