Strategic Plan
We want to build on our high standards. We have consulted widely on what is needed and on our emerging ideas. Our strategic plan now sets out six key goals that we aim to secure in the coming years.
These strategic goals are to:
- Strengthen existing provision for patients: to ensure we are providing the fullest range of services and so that our services are sensitive to the needs of our diverse population
- Extend and enhance community services
- Develop new services for people who are dying with conditions other than cancer
- Provide additional support for carers
- Establish St. Joseph’s Hospice as an easily accessible source of information, advice and expertise on care at the end of life
- Engage communities in our area: so that we can learn more about their needs and so that they are aware of our work and want to continue to support us.
