Fundraising
All the many services provided by St Joseph’s, both at the hospice on Mare Street and for people in their own homes, are provided completely free. The cost of running these services is around £12,000,000 each year. The local NHS Primary Care trusts contribute about 40% but the remainder, more than £7,000,000 must be raised from our generous supporters.
You can help us by donating now (click here for our donation form). Please complete the gift aid section which allows us to reclaim 28p for every pound you donate if you pay tax at the basic or higher rate.
Making a regular donation, however small, helps us greatly as we can plan ahead when we are able to predict our income.
