Friends of the Hospice
You can really help St. Joseph’s by encouraging your friends and family to join you in arranging fundraising activities and events in your own area.
Why not arrange one of the following:
- Host a Wine Tasting Evening with your friends and neighbours in your local community centre.
- Arrange a Jumble Sale, Bring and Buy or Coffee Morning, collecting items from you friends and neighbours to sell on the day.
- Take part in our Tea at Three campaigns and encourage everyone to have a cup of tea and a slice of cake with you to raise money for St. Joseph’s. The largest tea party wins a prize.
- Take note of local events within your area and arrange to have a stall at them.
or
- Simply help us to sell sunflowers for our Sunflower Appeal.
The list of ideas is endless and we will do all we can to support your events, by providing promotional materials. You will receive an information pack, regular newsletters, and an invitation to our volunteer get-togethers throughout the year. We will also support you with regular informal meetings, to see how you are doing and how we can help your fundraising events become a success.
