We hope that the information on this website will help you understand that bereavement and grief are natural parts of life and that it’s natural for young people to feel upset and angry and many other emotions for some time after a bereavement.

At Kites we are happy to give advice about any bereavement, but we generally wait for about 2 months after the death has happened to assess a family. It can feel difficult to cope directly after a bereavement and life is often full of changes. After 6-8 weeks, families often have more of a sense of what kind of help they might need.

If things in your family don’t seem to be returning to any kind of normality, or things are so difficult you feel that you need help, please contact us, your GP, or any of the links throughout this website.
