The Care On Offer
St. Joseph’s Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care. Its priority is to look after people with complex or multiple problems which generalist services in hospitals and the community cannot always deal with effectively.
Care provided by the hospice is available for people with progressive and life threatening conditions, their families and significant others. Involvement by the hospice is most likely during the last year of someone’s life and in many cases may happen much nearer the point of death. Occasionally our involvement is appropriate earlier in the course of a patient’s illness. |
